Bing & Grondahl Current & Recent Figurines

Condition:  All of the following figurines are Mint Condition and First Quality. Sizes (in inches) may be the maximum dimension or may refer only to the height, even when the figurine is longer or wider than high.  

Figurine Numbers:  In 1987, Bing and Grondahl (B&G) merged with Royal Copenhagen. Shortly thereafter, all figurines in production were given new three digit model numbers. Figurines previously made by Bing and Grondahl were now marked Royal Copenhagen and had new figurine numbers of 400 or higher.  In addition, all new numbers have a four digit prefix that further identifies the figurine: 1020- for Animals or 1021- for People.  For example, "Reading Children" used to be B&G #1567; after 1987, it was marked Royal Copenhagen #402 and has a full inventory number of 1021-402.  Most of the figurines I have in stock have the old B&G Mark and figurine number. However, if it is important to you that your figurine have a particular mark, please let me know and I will try to accommodate you.

All figurines that have been assigned new numbers must have been in production at some time since 1988.  All figurines discontinued PRIOR to 1988 (and which have never been assigned new numbers) are on my separate list of Discontinued Figurines. (Click HERE to go to that list.)  

June, 2009:  Due to world economic conditions, all except ONE of these figurines (1021-442) have been discontinued.   In most cases, the MSRP (Retail Price) shown below is the 2008 price. For figurines discontinued before 2008, I show the last MSRP (Retail Price) in parentheses ($195).

Buy the Book!  The best reference available is Bing & Grondahl Figures by Nick and Caroline Pope, published in 2003 by Schiffer Books. It is a large format (9" x 12"), hard cover book containing 240 pages and lists over 1000 B&G figurines, with approximately 800 color pictures.  It has the most complete listing and the best  price guide in print for Bing & Grondahl figurines.  If you collect or sell Bing & Grondahl figurines, you should definitely have this book.  Cover price is $49.95; I have it in stock for sale at $35.  As with any price guide, the prices shown reflect the opinions and experience of the authors; my prices may be higher or lower.  

Factory Seconds:  Both Royal Copenhagen and B&G issued figurines that were marked as second quality by the factory (2nds).  These were indicated by a vertical scratch through the Royal Copenhagen three-wavy-line trademark, or a horizontal scratch across the three tower trademark of B&G.  I do not ship factory seconds unless specifically requested.   ALL figurines listed for sale below are FIRST QUALITY.
