Royal Copenhagen Soldier with Bulldog #1156

Underglaze figurine #1156 by Royal Copenhagen, designed by Christian Thomsen in 1909, discontinued in the mid-1980s. Last US List Price was $470 in 1981; if available new today, it would be more than double that.  Approximately  7.5 inches tall.  Signed with the Royal Copenhagen trademark of three wavey blue lines; a crown surrounded by the words ROYAL COPENHAGEN DENMARK in green;  and the painter's mark.   First quality, excellent condition.
