Bing & Grøndahl CM51
Jubilee Plate: Koldinghus Castle 1268 - 1918
750th year for Koldinghus Castle, the oldest remaining royal castle in Jutland. Started in 1268 to protect the major north-south trade route in Jutland, at a ford crossing the Kolding River, which was then the border between Denmark and the Kingdom of Schleswig. This is one of the more scarce plates in the series.
