**  This plate is in excellent condition -- no chips, cracks, repairs, or other damage.  There is a small underglaze dark spot (probably  caused by an iron particle in the clay) just above the "A" in 27 MAI.  This occurs normally during the manufacturing process.  Today, iron particles in the clay are removed using powerful electro-magnets.
