City of Frederiksberg 1857-1907
Issued to mark the 50th anniversary of the City of Frederiksberg, just outside Copenhagen. This plate was also made with hand-colored highlights fired under the glaze. The three falcons on a castle wall are taken from the Frederiksberg City Arms. From about 1890 through 2005, the Royal Copenhagen factory was located in Frederiksberg.
