This plate features a central portrait of Queen Margrethe I of Denmark who ruled Denmark from 1387 to 1412, with the inscription "Kunst og Industri Udstillningen i Stockholm 1897" (Art and Industry Exhibition in Stockholm 1897) forming a circle, and the company name "B&G" in the center. The border also incorporates the coats of arms of the three principal participating Scandinavian countries: the Three Crowns of Sweden, the Rampant Lion of Norway, and the Three Lions and Nine Hearts of Denmark.
