Courageous Hero is the title of this plate, issued in 1981 by the Norman Rockwell Museum.

It features a boy "protecting" a younger girl from an apparently harmless small dog. The boy dressed in cowboy boots and shirt, holding a toy six-shooter.

On the back of the plate, it reads: "An exacting and faithful color reproduction of the original Rockwell masterpiece."   Limited Edition of just 22,500 plates - low for any Rockwell collectable item.
